Ok, you heard this analogy here first. Here is something I came up with off the top of my head when talking to my friend about getting his car towed. "Here's what you should have done: Tell the tow truck driver that he has no right to tow your car, even though it was parked illegally. First of all, you have put thousands of dollars worth of fines, tickets, taxes, charges and other fees that go with cars. This money has gone back to the local and federal government. In addition, you have had lots of work done on your car which supports local businesses. You were taxed for the charges that were incurred by having your car repaired or maintained, which again went to federal or local taxes. That car of yours has driven you to work, church, and businesses. It has provided you with transportation that contributes in a great way to the national economy. Not only that, but you have put GAS into that car of yours! You were charged taxes for that gas as well! That car that is being towed has contributed GREATLY to the American economy! It has DEEP ROOTS in the American soil and deserves the right to stay where it is. Your car should be given amnesty because of it's contribution and sacrifice to this country. It shouldn't be towed, even though it was parked illegally." Spread this around, be sure to link back here.
